A Cyber Security Expert have to protect an organization’s infrastructure, data, and networks from breaches, malware, and unauthorized access. Key responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments, implementing firewalls/security controls, managing incident responses, and ensuring regulatory compliance. They require proficiency in SIEM tools, penetration testing, and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities

1.Threat Detection & Monitoring: Monitor network traffic for security breaches, unauthorized access, or suspicious activity using SIEM/XDR tools.
2.Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability scans to identify and remediate weaknesses in networks, systems, and software.
3.System Security Implementation: Install and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption protocols.
4.Incident Response & Forensics: Investigate security breaches, analyze incidents, and lead forensic investigations to determine the cause and prevent recurrence.
5.Compliance & Policy: Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and develop internal security policies.
6.Security Awareness: Train employees on security best practices to prevent phishing and other social engineering attacks.
