Cyber Security Expert

Protect an organization’s IT infrastructure, networks, and data from cyber threats, unauthorized access, and breaches. They conduct vulnerability assessments, implement security protocols (firewalls, encryption), monitor for anomalies, and respond to incidents.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Threat Detection & Monitoring: Continuously monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions.
2. Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in hardware/software.
3. Security Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain security controls, such as firewalls, data encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
4. Incident Response: Investigate security incidents, mitigate threats, and prepare incident reports.
5. Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR, HIPAA) and enforce company security policies.
6. System Upgrades: Apply security patches and updates to protect against evolving threats.
