AMI/MDM Smart Metering Expert

An AMI MDM Smart Meter Expert haveto lead the design, implementation, and management of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Meter Data Management (MDM) systems. They ensure seamless integration between smart meters, Head End Systems (HES), and billing, focusing on data integrity, network communication (RF/cellular), and utility operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities-

1.System Design & Implementation: Architect MDM solutions, create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, and manage end-to-end deployment of smart metering projects.
2.Integration & Networking: Integrate MDM with HES, smart meters, and network communication technologies (RF, GPRS, NB-IoT).
3.Data Management & Analysis: Monitor data integrity, manage interval reads, TOU, and events from smart meters.
4.Operations & Maintenance: Oversee AMI operation (O&M), including troubleshooting, data validation, and ensuring high service levels (SLAs).
5.Project Management: Drive project milestones, manage vendor relationships, and comply with regulatory standards.
